We are delighted to announce that our Department Chair, Dr. Naciye Sağlam, has published her monograph Adapting the Novel for the Stage: Translation in Intermedial Circulation with Palgrave Macmillan, an imprint of Springer Nature.

This book offers a comprehensive study of how novels are transformed into stage adaptations through the dual lens of intersemiotic translation and Bourdieusian sociology. It provides both theoretical insights and detailed case studies, making an important contribution to the fields of Translation Studies, Adaptation Studies, and Theatre and Performance Studies.
